Cloudy with a touch of Meatballs Cloudy with a chance of Meatballs PG
by Klareze yr 3
Flint Lockwood is the main character of Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs, who believes he is going to be a great inventor. He has a plan to build a food creating machine that absorbs water. It was a very difficult task but he managed to make it.
The only food available were sardines, very boring, so he started to create lots of different types of food from different countries around the world, like hamburgers, hot dogs, sub sandwich, ice cream, chocolate, icing, nachos, fish, chicken, spaghetti, bread and of course Meatballs.
Plenty of problems arise from using the machine but help arrives at last. I love this movie and that’s why you should watch it with your 3D glasses.
Fantastic Mr Fox Fantastic Mr Fox PG
by Maddie yr 9
I went to see this with my sister and we both agreed that it’s a great film for people of any age group. All the characters are really lovable and you are immediately drawn into the battle between the animals and the greedy farmers. It is both hilarious and sad so whatever genre of film you prefer I’m sure you will enjoy it! The animation is also very clever and the animators characterised the animals very well. I recommend that you see this film with your family if you’re having a hard time agreeing on a movie to watch because it is fun for all different kinds of people. I would give this film a 4/5

Hairspray Hairspray
A Comedy by John Waters (PG)
The original movie Hairspray manages
to tell people about important issues at the time but you still get a laugh! It bonds dancing and racism and highlights how terribly they treated Blacks.
Every teen in Baltimore watched the Corny Collins show, including Tracy Turnblad! And when she is selected to be on the show she couldn’t be happier!
But she soon finds out that the show is not all it seems and when she protests she lands herself in a ton of trouble!
